| Nice quiz. I enjoyed how even though I had no clue who created Lil' Abner, I was able to deduce it from the surrounding clues. 5 globes and nominated. |
 | sproutcm: | Apr 5th, 2011 at 04:54 GMT | | 10 points |
| @crazylegs Thanks so much. It took forever to get a set of words that made that lattice and didn't break any of the word ladder rules of always changing different letters each time (from any direction). |
 | betraisefold: | Apr 5th, 2011 at 05:06 GMT | | 3 points |
| So THAT'S what I should have called my Ladderbox. Nicely done - but that pretty much goes without saying I suppose. |
 | sproutcm: | Apr 5th, 2011 at 05:10 GMT | | 5 points |
| @betraisefold I totally forgot about that Ladderbox you made. I wanted to see if I could try to make something Ladderinthy, but without changing the same position twice. This is as big as this will ever get. Thanks! |

@Sproutcm: It could grow down, but Sporcle prevents it growing across. Also the ✠ symbol is slightly taller than the other rows. Only a pixel or so, but the rows are uneven when finished. 5 orbs on a busy night for you. |

| I'm not sure about the usage of cope. I always thought that coping with a problem was what you did instead of dealing with it. |

| Great quiz sproutcm! 5 globes given. If this is published perhaps a sequel or two? I love the little emote you have used for the apple core, really clever and its nice to see something different once in a while :) |

| I never thought I would see a sporcle quiz replete with Iron Crosses. Kind of an odd choice. Would be useful for German quizzes I suppose. |
 | sproutcm: | Apr 15th, 2011 at 05:03 GMT | | 4 points |
| @senob44 Actually, that's a Maltese Cross. I picked it because it fit with the lattice theme in terms of how it looked. |

| How the heck do you start this thing? I randomly typed in four-letter words for about two minutes (none of which triggered a clue) and then quit. Is there a starting clue I missed? |
 | sproutcm: | Apr 15th, 2011 at 05:16 GMT | | 33 points |
| @Bobman1 The 5 words across the top of the grid say "Type 'GO" to Begin Quiz." |

| Good quiz but I'm not a big fan of the format. I prefer the traditional ladders TBH. |

| coot clue is a little vague, maybe crazy old fellow or zany old fellow. tricky quiz! |

| I kept trying to type in LONE until I saw that BORK went to BORN. Fun! |

| Nice variant on the laddyrinth format. I'm a fan of these quizzes. I'd steal the format but you pretty much have it cornered. The only answer I would point out is that "boon" loosely fits for monetary spoils as well, and works in the ladder. But loot does work better. |

| I was surprised when it said I had finished and it still had spaces. That's why it's a lattice. Duh! |
 | TAR2: | Apr 15th, 2011 at 17:39 GMT | | 0 points |
| Iron crosses? I guess that's what is supposed to be where those little symbols are that look like boxes with the top and bottom border darkened? You must have used a non-standard font when you made the quiz. Glad some people have that font though! |
 | gellchom: | Apr 15th, 2011 at 18:15 GMT | | 3 points |
| Strictly (and gratefully) speaking, Bork was never a Justice, just a nominee. But you're still my favorite constructor. |

| A coot is a bird, a type of waterfowl. I've never heard it used as a word for an old fellow in the UK. |
 | NvjdsIsSmart: | Apr 15th, 2011 at 21:57 GMT | | 1 point |
| At one point, I typed in "Crap". Add a 'py' to the end of that, and you will see how I did on this quiz. |

| Batman villain? Bane? Odd place to go. I was trying to think of a villain with a four letter name. |
