I like this. Figured out the rabbit one at the last second. Your title makes me think of a buddy of mine's favorite toast: "Here's to living single, seeing double, and sleeping triple!"
He's married now. Quit drinking. Insomniac.

I've never heard of the first one, so no wonder I couldn't figure it out. But the third picture there was really hard for me to make out. Very clever quiz and I loved the selection of answers.

I hadn't heard that phrase for the one with the Salvation Army, but couldn't the third part also be "love"?

@gbv Those are the three virtues, but "faith, hope and love" is part of a New Testament bible quote, but an unrelated trio.

The first one refers to three bones within the ear.

sproutcm--both "Faith, Hope and Charity" and "Faith, Hope and Love" come from the same New Testament quote. The last word is different in different translations.

Can someone explain the "skip" picture? Maybe it's just because it's small, but all I see is some sort of animal in a dumpster.

@Lprdgecko A skip is the term for that type of open waste container, that can usually be then loaded onto a truck. So, it is a type of dumpster.

Would someone kindly explain to me how the first one is a phrase? I know they are parts of the inner ear. I got it correct, but I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out exactly what the quiz wanted. (There was still plenty of time to complete the quiz though.) Never heard of bell, book, and candle - learn something new everyday.

Nice to see UK English stumping our US cousins. A "skip" is what we call a "dumpster".

they are called "spring rolls"-- munching on one while taking the quiz. Very fun, but of what signficance is "bell, book and candle". Also, never heard of a "skip" (but as noted earlier, its impossible to see). The first one (hammer, anvil and stirrup) are the bones that make up your inner ear.

The past and the present and the future, faith and hope and charity, the heart and the brain and the body, give you three as a magic number.

Good idea and quiz, but I really don't think "hammer, anvil and stirrup" qualifies as a "famous phrase". "Crosby, Stills & Nash" really doesn't fit the theme either. On the other hand, I've never hears of "bell, book and candle" but it certainly does fit and I learned something new.

Great idea for a quiz! Some improvements needed: I wouldn't call the first one a famous trio or phrase. The skip picture needs to be replaced. A picture of 4 women means sex? Could have used an Rx symbol for drugs. Charity should be Love. Bell book and candle apparently is a movie, again not a famous trio or phrase. However, LOVED the Hook one and the BLT one!

@TAR2: It's not just four random women, it's the cast of "Sex and the City." And "bell, book and candle" refers to a method of excommunication in the Catholic church, and was used by Marlowe and Shakespeare long before the movie (or any movie) was made.

@Sopz: It's a Vietnamese-style spring roll. They don't look the same as the Chinese-style ones. Do a Google image search and you'll see...
