Can you name the images that each start with the letter 'R'?
created by
sproutcm
Enter an answer in the box below
Correctly named answers will show up below
If your obvious answer isn't working, you probably have to be more specific. For example, RED THING is too general; you need to identify the specific red thing in the photo.

@All I know that there is one image that comes up when you type in another thing. I'm waiting for a new image to be uploaded so that'll be fixed soon. Thanks for understanding.

I don't blame myself for missing the raisin; very hard to recognize.

Rifle? I think of hunting guns when I think of rifles - not AK-47's or whatever that is.

That's a RAISIN?! Sure doesn't look like one. Get a better picture, please. One that's not so zoomed in.

I thought the raisin was rosin! But I eventually got it; I don't think you need to change the picture. Let people squirm a little bit! Agreed with sproutcm - bottom left should be replaced since it's a substring of another answer.

I think for the next quiz "sproutcm" should be made one of the pictures.

The flowers are my downfall for this series! Also, apparently I need to re-learn what a radish looks like. Or maybe try a rutabaga.

Years of playing Pit should have come in handy for getting rye--sadly it didn't.

I recognise that this is probably a case of Sporclitis, but could Rhombus be accepted for Rectangle? Or is there a key difference I'm missing?

@dbcint A rhombus is a quadrilateral with 4 equal sides (definitely not what is pictured). So while a square is a rhombus, and a square is a rectangle, a rectangle is not a rhombus.

I found this quiz to be very easy, which is kind of confusing, as I'm a very average sporcler according to the statistics. Am I crazy?

@TheNative: I agree that the low ranking of "razor" is weird, but "rectangle" being guessed under 50% is just surreal! The Sporcle population needs to go back to kindergarten...

I finished and thought for sure what I was convinced was reeds or wheat would be the least guessed... nope... RAZOR. I'm guessing that people didn't remember to spell it -or instead of -er? Or maybe theres an alternative name that people use for it?

The rectangle is a crafty shape. Sometimes it will tilt itself slightly and thereby make itself unrecognizable to most humans.

please accept rule for the first one. Thank you. Despite the red breast I somehow missed robin - I guess because it looks quite different to robins I've seen in terms of the shape of the bird. D'oh!

@Gieron: You may be right. However, if sproutcm hadn't angled it, it could have been interpreted as an empty picture.

The cereal in the picture looks like wheat, not rye. Rye should have longer awns and the distribution of grains on the ear is different. But I learned something new again: the American robin is actually a thrush and, apart from the red breast, looks nothing like the European robin (which is much cuter!).

I definitely typed rook a second time for the raven. Not enough caffeine this morning.
