	@gjackson The official name for the UNLV team is actually just the Rebels in general for the Basketball team they do officially add the "Runnin' " so that works, but I like the fact that you have to know that one is the Wolf Pack and one is the Wolfpack. @Benito50 Washington/Vermont/Montana/Wyoming all have Div 1 teams, but none of their names are unique, so there would be alternate answers. @twelve12 Each sport at Hawaii is either the Warriors or the Rainbow Warriors, they got to pick individually, so it depends on which NCAA sport you pick, but this is a general NCAA team quiz.

	I'm pretty sure that the more accurate statement is that there is no unique team name for Nevada, since "Wolf/pack" is shared with North Carolina.

	Way too much time. I got them all in...uh, 7 minutes and 59 seconds. Really. And the one that had me stumped for three solid minutes as I frantically tried to figure out which state I missed, until recognizing at literally the last second that I was the Biggest Idiot in All Sporcledom was.....Florida. Double really. You know you spend way too much time playing Sporcle when you see "Hurricane" and can't think of any school but Tulsa. Great quiz.

	Since you're not specifying which sport(s), Alaska has 2 Division I hockey schools. The UA-Anchorage Seawolves may or may not be a unique name in all Division 1, but I'm pretty sure the University of Alaska (Fairbanks) are the only Nanooks.

	The Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves and the Alaska-Anchorage Nanooks both play DI hockey, but are DII for everything else.

	@cocky Yes, that's true. All the other schools on the quiz are pretty much DI across the board for the sports they play. The Alaskas are not designated as Div. 1 schools because of that.

	The only reason they are DI hockey is because there is no DII hockey (or DIII). Every NCAA hockey team plays in one division.

	@cocky the roosterman: There is, in fact, a DIII for hockey. At one time all three divisions sponsored hockey but DII got collapsed into DI, which is why you have teams like Alabama-Huntsville playing DI. Interestingly enough, the Alaska schools are DI in about half the sports they sponsor. Alaska-Fairbanks is DI in hockey, skiing, and rifle. Alaska-Anchorage is DI in hockey, skiing, and gymnastics. However, the litmus test is basketball, for which they are both DII.

	In light of the above statements and arguments I would say that "DI" is a pretty usless designation when separating major from non-major schools. FBS is a much more effective way to make the separation. If your quiz is about basketball and you want to include non-FBS schools like Marquette, DePaul, Villanova, Georgetown - then just say "DI basketball".

	Hey all, I added a link to the official NCAA website where they list their official designations of a school as Division I/II/III. This is the list I used and whatever magic requirements they pick (which is also a function of what the school has applied for as status too).

	Hawaii athletic teams are given the option to call themselves either the Warriors, the Rainbow Warriors, or the Rainbow(s). Would have loved to see the Bengals for Idaho. Excellent quiz.

	I suppose that's fair, sprout. As a hockey fan (and college hockey in particular) I just hate seeing all things hockey more or less disregarded, even by official organizations like the NCAA. It's not even like the Alaska schools are mid-majors within DI hockey--while not exactly powerhouses, they both play in what would be considered the equivalent of BCS AQ conferences. (At least as of now... conference realignment ain't just for football anymore!)
