| Oh... it's a baseball glove... am I an idiot for thinking it was some kind of insect? I couldn't get millipede out of my head. Admittedly I'm not from the US, but still... Maybe I need glasses if I can't tell gloves from animals! |

| it would be even awesomer if the picture for q were a screenshot of THIS quiz. but i'm a sucker for meta. |

| The mitt was very difficult. At first I thought it was a bug, then I thought it was a fungus. I figured it out when I looked really closely but that isn't the kind of mitt I'm used to seeing. |

| I thought the mitt was a vegetable at first, then a bug. When I looked up close it became clear though. |

| Mushroom? no...try harder...looks like...an organ, maybe? 'meat?' Needless to say, I'm never looking at a mitt the same way again. |

| I finally got mitt, after spending about a minute thinking it was some sort of snail. |

| Same comment as in the five-letter game. If B and C are going to be combined, then both should be required to get the point. Giving it to us for just knowing B defeats the purpose of combining them. |

| I would have never guessed that was a mitt. But if you're making a political statement about how someone named Mitt is a bloodsucking worm, I'm cool with that. |
 | slowdown: | Jan 31st, 2013 at 07:02 GMT | | 3 points |
| After trying hard to think of a four-letter word for a worm or caterpillar I had to give up. What a surprise. |

| looked like a mitt to me!! its one of those old fashioned ones, but i guess none of you are baseball fans... the one that got me was orca -- i tried seal, and then im like whale has 5, hmmmm... and sadly i didnt figure out the pattern till after reading the comments *headdesk* |

| that's a foil not an epee... The guard is larger on an epee |

| I'm with Yanks on this one. I didn't even give the mitt a second glance, knowing what it was instantly. It's an old catcher's mitt, probably from the turn of the century. |
 | Emerald_Fusion: | Jan 31st, 2013 at 12:40 GMT | | 5 points |

| "Zest" — WTF?!? That doesn't even make sense! Besides, it looks more like zucchini squash to me. Also should accept "millipede" for "mitt," as that's what that mitt looks like, a curled up millipede. |
 | SteelyMatt: | Jan 31st, 2013 at 14:01 GMT | | 9 points |
| I'm with Shortney...you should be required to enter both words for B & C.
And those who looked at the catcher's mitt and saw a snail or a caterpillar...I wonder about your eyesight. I can understand you might not have ever seen an older style of catcher's mitt before, but it's clearly not a living thing. Plus...the quiz is in alphabetical order. The word had to begin with M. |
 | irishailish: | Jan 31st, 2013 at 14:55 GMT | | 8 points |
