Can you name the images that each start with the letter 'P'?

Enter an answer in the box below
Correctly named answers will show up below
If your obvious answer isn't working, you probably have to be more specific. For example, PASTA or PATTERN is too general; you need to identify the specific pasta or pattern in the photo.

Would be good to accept "pasta" in addition to "penne"

I was banging my head on protozoa, even though the picture doesn't really look like protozoa.

That snake look a lot like a Puff adder, at least to my untrained eyes. It may not actually be one - but they are similar enough to a layman to accept either, I think.

I thought that was a gopher being dragged underwater by a giant thimble. Then I realized I was just looking at it upside down.

Despite reading the game note, I still tried "Pasta" for the picture of penne.

@finnoztoffee: I recall pawpaw as being yellower, and the seeds more sparse. But I'd never realized how similar they are.

@finnoztoffee/confused Actually, a pawpaw is a separate fruit or a synonym for a papaya. I added it as an answer because it depends on where you live what you call it.

I love these picture quizzes. I would have liked to see a Perry the Platypus picture, or a Plankton (from Spongebob) picture :)

Platypuses (platypii?) are probably the most badass animal. They're all like "Yeah, I'm a beaver/duck hybrid and a mammal who lays eggs. You got a problem with that?"

Pretty sure the percentages are off due to a change in the ordering of clues or something. It's very unlikely that pizza and panda are only 44% guessed, heh

I have never uttered the word "parsnips" in my life. Previous sentence is v. funny when spoken in best Mark E. Smith or Alfred Hitchcock voice.

@All Yep. I always try to fix these quizzes up before the get published to remove some of the ones with really low percentages. Panda, pepperoni pizza and pyramid replaced plankton, psi, and petunia.

I could be wrong, but it kind of looks like there is some parsley in the picture of parsnips. I did get it right, eventually, and it's pretty obvious what the primary clue is, but you might consider making "parsley" a technical alternative answer.

Pasta should be an alternative for sure. I am sure the Parrot is actually called a 'Macaw' if you want to be more specific on that one too...

@DashDixon: My last name actually means "parsnip" - so I would have felt pretty stupid missing that one! And props to the creator for including a Pastel Ball Python (see my avatar, LOL). I would suggest adding "pastel" as an alternative answer, but I'm probably one of the only snake nerds here. ;-)
