At least Hawaii can't kill you on any of these because none of them ask you for an [H] (since no other state begins with H).
(PS. Will you add the Minefield category tag to this quiz? Your other Border Bash quizzes had that tag.)

@Tommy_C I think you're right. Which is sad, since I'm a native of NH and everyone always forgets my poor little state.

A lot of people also think that Alabama borders Louisiana.

Why give the letter in brackets? It makes it too easy.

Oh wow, at the end I spent about a minute trying to figure out what state it could be, I couldn't believe it when I typed north carolina and got it right.

There's probably far easier ways to get from Vermont to Georgia.

Puzzled by the drop from Connecticut to New York. There's nowhere else to go. Are 1 in 7 people guessing New Jersey?

This quiz was great, though it made me really feel stupid at times. Great job as always Sproutcm!

There's an error from Louisiana to Alabama... that's neither backtracking nor an error.

@andrewdavis I'm not sure whether you're trolling or don't own a map, but the Great State of Mississippi is between Louisiana and Alabama.

Wow, I really had to think. Of course, there were ways to add in more states, but, this particular puzzle had so many twists and turns, it was much more exciting than just trying to have as many states as possible.

I'm one of the 26% that tried to go from Vermont to Maine on my first try.

@ivyagogo - I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think, being in California, I don't necessarily know exactly how all these little states fit together. I mean, I have a general idea where everything is, but yeah, when I see (A) after Louisiana, I'm gonna go with Alabama first.

brownstowne511, I also did that. I didn't quite understand the directions. And I goofed with Alabama touching Louisiana. I did have to do this quiz several times. It would be difficult if I didn't travel so much, and this quiz must be impossible for people from other countries. Loved the quiz, though.

this didn't have any tricky ones... hard to see how an American wouldn't get all

Well, some are tricky just for having a different "obvious" solution than the correct one. The example above: in your association chain you may lump in Louisiana with Alabama since they're "somewhat southern".

I don't think about NC touching GA, but it was the only possibility. When I saw M from Vermont, I thought of Montreal as my Vermontner friends always talk of the proximity to Montreal, but I was pretty sure that Montreal was not a State.

I didn't really think Nebraska bordered Idaho, but I couldn't think of any other N states over there. As soon as it went boom I remembered Nevada.

What I love about this quiz is that it focuses our attention on some of the most overlooked state borders: Michigan-Wisconsin (from Michigan's Upper Peninsula), Nebraska-Wyoming (which never hit me until I was in Cheyenne and saw an I-80 sign to Omaha. Omaha?!), Idaho-Nevada (the town of Jackpot makes its money just based on the absence of gambling in ID), and the all-time favorite.... Colorado-Oklahoma!
