Just amazing. As a huge baseball fan, the Ruth and Robinson photos are instantly recognizable to me but that shot of Hepburn is breathtaking. I kept looking at the second picture in the last row and thinking, "I don't know who that is, but he sure looks like Jerry Orbach." Glad to hear your grandfather is still going strong at 95!

I think you should accept Charlie McCarthy for the Ed Sullivan picture.

Omigod these are iconic! What a fortunate and talented man your grandfather was, and how lucky we are that you are there to share his gift of freezing history in place.

This is a well made quiz, but the back-story makes it really stand out. Not even the 1-bombers will touch this one.
ps. Did Grandpa Ralph get 30/30? :]

Great quiz & selection of timeless pictures! @MovieGuru - I think it'd be more fitting if he scored in the 95th percentile :)

Not a dud picture here, but it made me want to have prints of the Orbach and Bernstein pics--- personality captured perfectly!

For the 4th photo in the 3rd row, I was
convinced
that it was Jimmy Hoffa. Then, at the last second I realized that it was J. Edgar Hoover! Wrong on both counts, and the actual answer was much more interesting. Excellent quiz!
