Can you name the images that each start with the letter 'F'?

Enter an answer in the box below
Correctly named answers will show up below
If your obvious answer isn't working, you probably have to be more specific. For example, FISH is too general; you need to identify the specific fish in the photo.

"Frisbee" is a brand name held by "Wham-O." Perhaps add/exchange for "flying disc?"

Fleece and fireworks could use more discernable pictures, I think.

i definitely tried "trilobite" before "fossil," making me both nerdy and stupid at the same time.

@caramba My point was that one might argue "flying disc" should be accepted as the photo may or may not be a Frisbee. (If only to appease annoying sticklers like me.) :)

@chriskotx: I found the picture for firework fine, but I thought that fleece was fog
(that's a tongue-twister of a sentence).

Silly me... after 'fibers' and 'flax' I decided it must be something else entirely.

I was shocked to see "flower" wasn't enough... well, there pretty much ended my knowledge.

I really thought the fleece was a close up of fuzz.

Agree with tardis. You could stay with Frisbee (but capitalize it since it is a brand name) and also accept 'flying disc'.

I thought the fleece was foam, like from a waterfall. (And as a side note, I went to sproutcm's list of games to find all the prequels. Well, I feel inadequate now.)

Also with tardis. In fact, it is almost certainly *not* a Frisbee, as ultimate players (at least, ones that go to the trouble to organize a tournament) universally prefer a different brand of disc over Wham-O. "Flying disc" is the generally used generic term; e.g., at wfdf.org

Working my way up the letters. This was my worst performance so far (missed 5). Thanks though, these are fun.

sheesh i was thinking of every different synonym for "plaid" or some other pattern, but it never once occurred to even think that the picture referred to the material!

Flounder! I wasn't even sure it was a fish. Fish didn't work so I thought it was some type of cocoon. Tried fabric for flannel. How can you tell it was flannel? It made me think of a plastic tablecloth or a classic wool tartan. If it was of a person wearing a plaid shirt, I would have thought of flannel.

@Michelle194: I did, about 4 times before it occurred to me what type of fabric it was, lol! But I do think fabric should be accepted as an alternate answer.

I spent maybe a minute thinking "Man, I wish I knew what kind of fungus that was. If only I knew a type of fungus that begins with an 'F'."

Flatfish should technically also work for flounder, seeing as it is a type of flatfish, and it also starts with F.

I also would have appreciated flatfish being accepted. Thanks to the Little Mermaid, I thought flounders were blue and yellow striped...

I feel so proud....I got them all!...Ok so I must have wasted a full minute muttering "dandelion....dandelion clock....nope doesn't start wih an 'f'...what do those damned yanks call a dandelion...this quiz isn't fair for us Brits...dandelion....dandelion...*squints*....well ****!....fireworks!!!!" It's too early for a celebratory G&T so I shall salute my victory with a mug of tea!

It's a bit sad that I thought of flautist before flute... That's what comes from sitting beside the principal flautist in my school orchestra with all the parts marked FLAUTIST... facepalm (if only that was in here)...

"If your obvious answer isn't working, you probably have to be more specific. For example, FISH is too general; you need to identify the specific fish in the photo." Fergus! Is that you, Fergus? Gosh, I could hardly recognise you that way up. Oh, it's not you. Just any old non-specific flounder then, I guess.

Took me most of the time trying to work out how the Americans spell a word which we just call 'tap'.
