Just wondering, wouldn't this be more interesting if the answers weren't listed in alphabetical order?

I love that big ol' Delaware is more guessed than Texas.

Pretty easy quiz, the only disputes in my opinion would be Nevada/New Mexico or maybe Oklahoma/Oregon

M's and N's are tricky! Great quiz too, loved the idea. Could someone nominate this?

@bmo1616: Why's that? New Mexico's area is about 121,000 square miles compared to Nevada's 113,000. Oregon also has 98,000 compared to Oklahoma's 69,000 sq miles.

Hell yeah Delaware! Got thrown off by the 'N's, because I always seem to forget that the 'New' states still start with 'N' when doing this kind of quiz, and unfortunately New Mexico > Nevada.

One of those games that you find yourself replaying it 10 times. Still fun though.

This was...okay. So many answers are simply clicking (Florida, Delaware, Rhode Island, etc) so there's only 11 you NEED to think about. Of those 11, there are quite a few that are stupidly easy (Texas, Alaska, California, Virginia).

I'm sure some people tried to do them in order, so they may have missed a harder one before they got to all the easier ones.

@bmo1616 Hard facts like the size of a state can't be disputed. And since someone will bring this up, the only reason there is a dispute as to whether the 3rd largest country is because when you count total area (which includes rivers, lakes, and seas/oceans under a nation's control) the United States ranks 3rd, but if you only count the land, China is 3rd. As far as the "disputes" mentioned go, it doesn't matter which method you use as New Mexico is either 11028.77 sq mi (total) or 11529.54 sq mi (land) larger than Nevada and Oregon is either 28482.45 sq mi (total) or 27329.73 sq mi (land) larger than Oklahoma.

I think what bmo1616 was trying to say is those were the only "internal disputes." Meaning, the only ones you should expect anyone to struggle with. Not that land area of any state is disputed. And judging by the results, he was right, along with Wyoming vs Washington (or more likely, people hitting a mine before making it to Wyoming).

I looked at the stats, and I'm surprised that there are actually people who got fewer than 9 correct answers. Did the way the game is played get changed before it was published? I mean, under the current play system, there are 8 states that are unique to their letter of the alphabet. How does anyone miss those 8 states? And then, there should be at least 3 others that should be almost as easy.

@Pedroia15 where does this quiz indicate that? I think you meant New Mexico. In that case I would have to agree. Nevada was my only mess up, I'm quite shocked New Mexico is larger. In fact I think I'll have to fact-check that.

Fun quiz, though I'm now a bit embarrassed that I guessed Illinois over Idaho the first time through. And can someone explain to me why (as of this comment) fewer people are getting Delaware correct than Florida or Georgia?

IMO the best way to start is to click the states that start with a letter no other state begins with (rhode island, georgia, florida etc.) and then go on to letters with the fewest choices (S, W) leaving N and M for last
