	i had 72 first time, then i did where i guessed every letter (thought thats how you get 100) and i only got 26 lol.... not quite sure how this is scored, but fun quiz -- and only geography quiz i ever finished and knew even if i didn't get 100% lol

	OK, that makes sense. If someone figured out three cities before the timer ran out, and they play a second time to get the fourth city, they're certainly not going to type in all the wrong guesses they made on the first go-around just to be sporting. It's a pity though, because it would be fun to view the stats to see who could legitimately figure out the four cities in the fewest guesses. C'est la vie.

	I like this format. I wonder if we could see longer city names in the future? Reykjavik or Ljubljana perhaps?

	johnnyforeigner, in hangman you guess letters until you can guess the hidden word. Correct guesses cost you nothing, but incorrect guesses count against you. In the original paper and pencil game, a picture of a man on a scaffold is built, one body part per wrong guess, until a correct guess is made or the body is complete and the stick figure dies. Here incorrect guesses just count against your score.

	@DAMcCabe14: Try the first World Cities hangman. That's the one where there was one so obscure everybody griped about it in the comments. Much more obscure than, for example, Cologne.

	@All Really people, do you have nothing better to do than complain? It is a game of hangman and you're guessing letters. I'm pretty sure the 1 million people who live in Cologne believe they live in a city that is on Earth as well as the almost 3.5 million people who live in Durban (from the original quiz). I live in Boston, a world city with just over 600,000 people and if anyone wants to fight me over whether I live in a world city, please email me directly so I can give you my address.

	Confused, I got all 4 cities with a minute and a half left and I'm the 80th percentile? I thought since I got all of the answers I'd be in the top percentile. Nonetheless a fun quiz format!

	While Cologne may but me a major world city it is still a city that I have heard of, which means almost everyone else should have too. I think it was perfectly fine. It is nice to mix it up a bit, I dont want Tokyo, Beijing, London etc on every quiz

	@Badgerhawk, did you type in any incorrect letters? Every incorrect letter you type costs you that answer. When you complete a country, all of the unguessed letters for that country count as you getting that letter right. So if you had an incorrect guess for one of the letters, then that counts against you in your score.

	Cologne is the fourth largest city in Germany, it is definitely a majorly historical city. It has more people than probably more well known cities such as San Francisco and Venice, but just because you may not know of its importance doesn't make it a non-world city...

	I thought I had the 7 letter city pinned down, when I had _OLOGN_ and typed Bologna. In Norway we use the same name as in Germany, Köln, so I completely forgot about that one! I'm very pleased to see Cologne included though. Fantastic city, and not obscure at all in my honest opinon.

	Ah i did wonder about the hangman element, I didnt realise it was counting your wrong guesses...theres goes the easy method out the window, good quiz!
