Xi, as in the Greek letter Xi? I was always taught to pronounce it as "ksee," thus rhyming with a word like tea. This site even goes so far as to pronounce psi as "psee" -> http://www.biblicalgreek.org/links/pronunciation.php which is a new one to me...

@Tobley Well, Merriam-Webster has only words that rhyme with "BYE" as the pronunciation of Xi in English.

Hmm, I guess the English pronunciation is different from the Greek one. I see no problem with your title then.
