	I had 189 when time ran out despite typing pretty fast. Maybe 12 minutes isn't quite enough for the hunt-and-peck keyboarders? It felt kinda like a speed typing test crossed with a geo quiz.

	Why 12 minutes? Well, the Sporcle name the countries of the world quiz with the blank map, that gives you 15 minutes. So with starting letters it should be a few minutes easier. Right? :)

	I think sporcle convention is to accept St vincent without 'and the grenadines'. Found this a lot more difficult than I had expected.

	THE is misleading; there are other countries that start with the word "the." Nobody ever says, "He's from Netherlands," but the name is accepted as beginning with NE.

	@Chocolatl Well, there has been a note at the top explaining that. However, if someone talks about The Gambia, the 'The' is capitalized as it is part of the country name. If someone talks about the Netherlands, the 'the' is not capitalized. It is just added for grammatical/harmonious reasons.

	Sprout, your logic re: the time is flawed. The "name the countries of the world with a map" quiz doesn't require you to name them in a certain order, so of course that one is easier.

	@Blowfish_Hootie Actually, your logic is flawed. On the countries of the world with just the map, 30% of the people who take the quiz get within 20 countries of perfect. It is hard to say how many get perfect or miss just one because of the addition of South Sudan, but it is probably 20% of that 30%. So far, on this quiz, with a three-minute shorter (12 minute) limit, 55% of people have scored in that range. This means that the people who have taken this quiz are doing MUCH better than the 6 million people on the original quiz, though there is probably some selection bias.

	I think the time is just fine, I had a bit over a minute to go through the ones I missed the first time, and I'm not even a fast typer. Nice idea, liked it a lot!

	I am a quick typer generally and I had 5½ left when the time ran out (I was part way through typing Taiwan), and that's with skipping ones that didn't come after about 2-3 seconds. Another 1-2 minutes would be perfect. Also, some work without spaces (e.g. United Kingdom) others don't (e.g. The Gambia) - you need to be consistent.

	This is a cool idea in hindsight... a little too easy though, I kinda got bored to be honest. Not trying to be a troll or anything...
