And I actually got to the point of typing in "Ishtar" on the movies. I'll have to thank my wife for the fact that I knew (by osmosis, apparently) the Jane Austen books. Great quiz, sproutcm!

Not to be nit-picky but you spelled "beginning" wrong in the title. Also, very nice quiz, enjoyed it.

Very fun game! Although, I would have been content going the rest of my life unaware that I knew those two NKOTB members.

The New Kids one was annoying because I figured you were looking for last names (like any other quiz involving names).

Dang of course I would forget "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"; it was the WORST James Bond film by far!

@mrcottontail There are three capitals of South Africa: Cape Town, Pretoria and Bloemfontein. While Jo-berg is the largest city, it is not one of the capitals.

How could there be a 3.5 pt disparity in those who knew QUINT but not QUAD...? Then again, it's about the same disparity between the two friends characters--I mean if you know one, you know the other, right? 18 pts between rings and geese. At least the two Beatles songs are adjacent on the list.

@Bobman1 - I got quintillion but for quadrillion I kept trying quaTrillion. So, no, if you know one, you do not necessarily know the other.

Bit annoying that neither 'sauce' nor 'sesame seed/s' were accepted for the Big Mac question. Had tried 'steak' and 'salad', and was about to move into the realms of 'sawdust' 'saliva' '****' etc. Hey ho.

Oddly, in the NYT crossword today, there is a clue "Wizards and Warriors org." @Taffinski99 - Johannesburg is not the capital of South Africa. The capitals are Pretoria, Cape Town, and Bloemfontein.
