As worded, the instrument question may be a bit vague. Viola, guitar, balalaika, banjo and countless medieval instruments would fit the definition. Perhaps reword to: "What bowed string instrument… …viola and bass?"

You have to accept 'Frosties' for the Tony the Tiger question, as they are known in the UK.

You must have some extra bonus answers not at the end of the data page or something, because on the stats page, 3 answers I got wrong were marked as correct and 3 answers I got right were marked as wrong (and a fourth wrong answer displayed correctly). As always with your quizzes, I really enjoyed this.

I didn't realize that college taught students which states contained the words South in them. I also didn't realize that a college curriculum entailed trivial questions. Where exactly are you pulling these questions from?

Those hard questions were kind of easy in this one imo. I got all of the hard ones right. In the other AYSTCS quizzes I usually don't.

Very nice! Could you accept the cello’s full name,
violoncello
? (
Violincello
is currently accepted, but the original name has an
o
there. It’s a fun etymology:
viol
gave
violone
, “big viol”, which then gave
violoncello
, “little violone”.)

"Au pair" rather implies the parity of services traded: looking after the children in exchange for accomodation and food. And how is Alien a hard question???

@drowningbarbie and all others curious: The Charleston confusion is probably due in no small part to the fact that the famous "Charleston" song mentions South Carolina.
