| I woulda put the logo for SMU for Mustangs.. but then it wouldnt have been as hard. |
 | double_a08: | Feb 26th, 2012 at 05:01 GMT | | 1 point |
| I have honestly never seen that logo for the Vandals. All I have ever seen is the I with script vandals across it...don't even see that logo on their website. I was wondering why Vikings didnt work. |
 | sproutcm: | Feb 26th, 2012 at 05:11 GMT | | 3 points |
| @double_a08 That logo came from the main sports logo site (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=v0eolq80gfhwystppsk4). If you wanted, I could go back and swap in one of the older Vandals logos. |

 | ScrambledEgghead: | Feb 26th, 2012 at 13:34 GMT | | 5 points |
| Shoulda guessed Spartans but to me Spartans are green and white. Great quiz! Good mix of obvious, guessable, and out-there. |

| @tardis: Aah, the mighty Ichabods. Lest we forget the NAIA Evergreen State Geoducks of my hometown. |
 | sproutcm: | Feb 26th, 2012 at 18:53 GMT | | 3 points |
| @all In case you couldn't tell, I swapped in the Vikings logo for the Vandals since the logo that actually shows the Vandal a) looks like a viking and b) isn't very commonly used not recent. |

| Just curious, what is a zip? |
 | Aidan27: | Feb 26th, 2012 at 20:03 GMT | | 7 points |
| A Zipper was a rubber shoe manufactured by Goodyear in Akron, the name was later shortened to Zips. The Kangaroo is a more recent addition. |

| What is a paladin? |
 | bookteacher: | Feb 28th, 2012 at 02:28 GMT | | 2 points |
| A paladin is a knight on a horse. I AM a Furman Paladin and that logo in no way represents Furman or our Paladins. Historically the name comes from a group of Charlemagne's guards. We are the only school with that mascot, but that picture is not our Paladin. |

 | gopaladins: | Mar 2nd, 2012 at 06:53 GMT | | 2 points |
| GO PALADINS. my photo is our actual logo. not sure i've ever seen the logo used in this quiz on anything related to furman, but maybe it's an old school one. |
 | sproutcm: | Mar 2nd, 2012 at 23:54 GMT | | 2 points |
| @All I really liked having the Paladins here, but no one seems to know that alternate logo, so I'm going to swap in another P team that has a logo you can guess from looking at it. Sorry Furman! |

| @itsacon...What is a Hoya. |
 | Maphead: | Mar 13th, 2012 at 02:48 GMT | | 1 point |
| The "Hoya" comes from the Latin "Hoia" meaning "what", usually combined with Saxa to from "What Rocks!" |
