| @thedpr: it's not only Italian, it's *bad* Italian. The correct spelling isn't "Fatti maschii, parole femine" but "Fatti maschi, parole femmine", which translates as "Facts (or deeds) are masculine, words are feminine". The phrase has a double meaning: originally grammatical (in Italian the word "fatto" (fact) is of masculine gender, while the word "parola" (word) is feminine) but it could also be understood as "Deeds are for men, women only talk". I think it wont 't be long until this motto is discarded as being sexist. |
