Love this format, and there is GREAT variety in these. More more more!

Great quiz! Technically, Ántonia should be spelled with an accent on the A, though the unaccented version should definitely still be accepted.

@Rossipotamus- I must have missed the memo in which 'V' was officially declared a vowel.

How about accepting Anadin for the painkiller? Probably you don't have it under that name in the US, but it's extremely well-known over here, especially for the legendary advertising Fail. Slogan: Nothing acts faster than Anadin. Logical response: So take nothing.

Just to clear up confusion, could you put 'US Football's Merlin'? Despite being American, I still foolishly managed to assume you meant soccer.

Nice! One nitpick: grog is much more strongly associated with navies (especially the British navy) than pirates.

For whatever reason that was the easiest quiz I've ever taken. Finished with almost 5 minutes left and only had to pause for emanation. I guess the years of my life wasted working crossword puzzles has finally paid off big time.

you should write the 2 word clue as "NUCLEAR reactor requirement" because there are various reactors that do not require fuel rods ( i.e. pharmaceutical batch reactors). only reason i happened to get the answer right is because i've been in school for chemical/nuclear engineering for 6 years... probably not a gimme for most people.

Nah, I think the lAymen (me) totally think of a nuclear reactor first. I have no clue what a pharmaceutical batch reactor is. I think you schooling made it harder not easier. |

Two reasons why doing quizzes first thing when I get to work in the morning is bad: 1) I spent about a minute trying to spell Minnesota correctly before realizing that is not the answer for MNTN and 2)I originally read "Type of Crayon" not "Type of Canyon". Maybe I should start drinking coffee...
