While it's true that Hot Shots is a slapstick parody of Top Gun, Some Like It Hot is hardly a serious movie - it's a screwball comedy that the American Film Institute lists it as the top comedy film in cinematic history. Basically, it's at least arguable that it's not "more serious." Surely, if the quiz author was dividing movies into "less serious" and "more serious" categories, he could have found one with the word "Hot" in the title that's unambiguously more serious. |
