For modern family the family should be Jay, Manny and Gloria. Mitchell is Jay's gay son, his sister Claire is the mum in the Dunphy family. Good Quiz though.

@Aardvark. The Modern Family Set is Jay, Mitchell, and Gloria, since they are all Pritchetts. Manny has a different last name, the name of his actual father, Delgado, and Claire is now a Dunphy after marriage. The Clair on this quiz goes with the Huxtables.

I didn't think Lindsay would count as a Bluth because her married name is Funke.... Oh well. Fun quiz!

Fun quiz! It took me a couple tries to find the right Brady combination with Bobby, Cindy, and Peter all in the "Member 1" column.

I'm really pretty sure you could give us Buster instead of Byron. Byron? Really? I have that show memorized forwards and backwards and STILL had to just start trying names on that one. Jeez.

Jerry Conner? Really? They called him Jerry Garcia Conner most of the time. The only reason I got the answer was process of elimination. Great quiz, but that one kind of bites...

The format of this quiz SUCKS! I did like the instructions said and wasted 3 minutes and still can't get game to accept answers that I know are correct.

You could have really messed with people on Bonanza and used Hoss' real name or one of Ben's wives.

@All I have replaced Byron (his real name) by Buster (his nickname) so that people will be happier. Good thing I didn't put Nichael on there as @cappy pointed out.

Bluth, George, Buster, Michael could work. Obviously George is for another answer and the correct choice from that column is Lucille, but still.

In the answers, I would like to point out an error. You have the initials out of order for the Huxtables. The answer says SCR-H when it should be SRC-H, since the order is techincally Sondra, Rudy, Clair. Thanks!

You could also have the Cunninghams be Charles, Joanie and Richie. And I agree the use of Jerry Conner is pretty lame. No need to go obscure on as broad ranging a quiz as this is. Just put Roseanne or Darlene in there.

Not a big fan of this one, using Jerry Garcia Conner seems silly and to many options where multiple names work in each column i.e. Mary Bradford or Peter Brady...

@Everyone I did some tweaking, and replaced Jerry (Garcia) by Becky and fixed the Cosby Show typo.
I have a question. Why is the sample, that is spelled out in the instructions, and set off in parenthesis, missed by 13% of the people who get an answer correct?

I do think you need to accept correct answers even if they are not the "most correct" answers that will cause all the names to be used. It's not quite fair that I need to know every answer in order to answer on question. Btw I look forward to sproutcm quizzes.

@all. The point of the quiz is that it has intentionally been chosen to have duplications to make it difficult. All of the dozens of foursomes from lots of constrictors do this same thing. This is modeled after lots of puzzles that challenge you and make you think including the british show Only Connect.
