This is so much fun, thanks sproutcm and Roger B. It's a pretty good spelling test too, I had trouble with several of them - could've sworn it was Cassiopoeia but alas, you're correct. Sequels please.

I knew 4/6 of set 4, I could spell 2/6. Ouch. But yeah, as I tweeted during the quiz because I am that dedicated to accuracy, FANEUIL LEASE IRK CUSS is a comic strip but FANEUIL LEASE IRK ILL is a magazine. Just because FANEUIL LEASE IRK CUSS isn't funny...

My mind is definitely not wired to work this way, as evidenced by my score of 0. Then again, I wouldn't have been here in the first place if it weren't for the flashing title.

One of the most satisfying perfects I've ever gotten on Sporcle. Had to REALLY work. Clues were loose but not too loose. Great quiz!

DO NOT attempt while wife is watching tv. First, the competing noise makes this quiz tough. Second, she wanted to have me committed for trying to sound these out.

Clever idea, but I think it doesn't fully come across what some of these are. It's also impossible to figure out what the theme for Set 3 is, as it doesn't seem to accept "literature," "books," "characters," or any combination of them. Maybe this can be fixed?

Great quiz. I really thought I wasn't going to get them all. Some of those were tough. For me this turned out real well because it was tough but actually solvable.

I hope I'm not the only one who just sees gibberish in this quiz. I know you have to use mind creativity to come up with the answers...but I just don't have it.

A lot of these don't work at all in British English; 'Rita' sounds very different from 'Reader' in the UK, and 'Marred in' doesn't sound like 'Martin,' because Americans often pronounce 't' as 'd' (cf 'Adam'/'Atom')....

@flixuk: True, but we Britons are at least familiar with American pronunciations, so it's not really a hindrance, is it?
