well done again sir, or ma'am. Rent popped into my head as time ticked to zero, and kept trying Chef for canterbury tale like an idiot. Great quiz

1408 is a short story, not a novel. I didn't count any of his short stories.

This one was harder than the 5-min one, I would've preferred another minute or two.

i actually thought 5 mins was plenty of time and feel i got all the ones i could've with about a min to spare, those being mainly the US sports ones.

To be really pedantic, in chess a pawn is not considered a piece, but it's a distinction which only really matters to chess players and I acknowledge that it's referred to as such in common parlance so I'm not going to complain if you want to leave it as it is. Could you accept horn for the orchestral instrument? As a horn player myself I can confirm that it's commonly used without the "French" appellation.

On the orchestra one, how about viol? I know I'm being wildly pedantic but I believe that's it's just short for violin, and not a separate instrument. If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me!

Viol is not the same as violin. A viol has sloping shoulders, 6 strings, and frets. It was common in the 16th and 17th centuries, and made in various sizes. The orchestra instruments of the violin family are violin, viola, violoncello(cello), and double bass(bass).

Apparently I focused on this quiz as much as I am focussing in class right now... I missed my own birthstone, orchestra instruments and LOST, my favorite TV show. Failure...

I did Utah for my state and got a D-Day beach. Did Lima for the phonetic alphabet and got a world capital. If Brad Pitt had won an Oscar I'd have gotten that when doing British PMs.

@cocky- i also did "utah" and got the d-day beach, and i actually did do pitt (i have no movie knowledge) and was surprised to get a PM (because i also have no knowledge of british govt.)! also @sproutcm- any reason why zulu is listed out of alphabetical order in the phonetic alphabet? i mean, i see most of the answers arent in alphabetic order but i felt like you meant that one to be? not sure... fantastic quiz cant wait for 6 letters (maybe i'll actually get a pokemon this time since i missed in 4 and 5 letters!!)
