Washington Redskins beat the Denver Broncos in the 1988 Super Bowl. That's why nobody has gotten past the third question (as of right now anyways)

Washington defeated Denver in the 1988 Super Bowl. However, in the 1988 season (the season Sanders won the Heisman) the 49ers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals. The game was played in 1989 but counted towards the 1988 season.

i got to question 33, and the people who were left were marino, brees, montana, simpson, kreutz, gannon, brown, and moon...none of those players retired in 2006 like that questions asks

Fastballx31. The question says "The same year which 2006 HOF inductee retired?" This is saying the player was inducted into the HOF in 2006, not retired in 2006. I understand your confusion. Sorry for the misunderstanding

Then change the question to "who won the Super Bowl for the 1988 SEASON". Asking who won the Super Bowl in 1988 makes your answer wrong.

dlman91: The question says "The same season which team won the Super Bowl?"

The quiz creator is 100% correct about linking superbowl champ with the season year rather than the date on which the game was played. No one in the whole world thinks of the '85 Bears as the '86 Super Bowl champs. I can see how you might get the question wrong if you tried to out think it, but under no circumstance should the quiz be changed.
