Feel free to let me know if I've missed any. Coulraphobic123 has made me aware that census figures vary from table to table on the US Census site: I've included any city that qualifies somewhere.

According to 2009 Census Estimates, Victoria and Tyler don't qualify and you're missing Frisco, McKinney, and Round Rock...just off the top of my head...perhaps others: http://www.census.gov/popest/cities/tables/SUB-EST2009-04-48.xls http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population

@coulraphobic, Thanks for the input; I'll add Frisco, McKinney and Round Rock per the census link you provided. I included Tyler based on census quick facts as noted above; Wikipedia also supports the inclusion of Tyler through a direct search. I found a number of discrepancies in population between the table you used and the "quick facts" city look-ups on the same site. Victoria was a metropolitan area (rather than city) statistic that slipped by me, so I'll take it off.

I think the quiz would be better if you listed if by letter and the quiztaker only had to think of one city to get the letter correct

@ilikequizzes: That's how I originally wanted to do it, but couldn't figure out how to get the correct population figure to show up according to which city the quiz-taker chose. If anybody can help me with this, I'd be grateful.

I like it the way it is. I couldn't come up with Abilene, and I was born out that way!
