Also, WAY less time. But good idea for a quiz.

You used the 2010 NFL teams. Sporcle considers 2009 NFL playoff teams to have been from the 2008 season.

you should not have listened to bsd, it is horrible how it is now and nobody considers them the 2009 playoff teams, he is confused or something.

Up it by a minute?

yeah, playoff teams from the 2009 season would be more logical and consistent, despite the technicality of the NFL

Misspelled Pittsburgh on the Penguins entry. And I agree the NFL one is a bit confusing.

I think the NFL one should be the teams from the 2009 season who made the playoffs (in 2010). Because all the other categories are from the most recent season.

Or at least explain that the NFL playoff teams are from the 2008 season, whose playoffs are in 2009. And I agree with one more minute (to 5 minutes) and yes, please correct spelling of Pittsburgh.

The NFL considers the 2009 playoff teams to be from the most recent playoffs. For example, everyone remembers the '85 Bears and the '72 Dolphins, but those teams won the Super Bowl in 1986 and 1973, respectively.

Can we please not call hockey one of the "major" sports.

Consider accepting cards in place of cardinals, it has become a very common alternate - Blazers in place of trailablazers is similar

Doesn't change the fact that sporcle standard is what I said. This quiz would not be in line with every other quiz of this sort.

Talking about "Sporcle standard" is always a bad idea. Sporcle quizzes should be *right*, not based on some supposed "standard" that is itself wrong.

No Patriots? They lost in the first round to the Ravens. And you forgot the Saints, who won the Superbowl. That means they were in the playoffs.

Really, the Saints, the super bowl champions, weren't in the playoffs? How did they manage that?

As a Pats fan, I know our championship banners say 2001, 2003, and 2004 Super Bowl champions, even though those Super Bowls were played in 2002, 2004, and 2005 respectively. Therefore, the 2009 playoff teams should be the teams that were in this past playoffs, as the Saints are the 2009 Super Bowl Champions.

@jorge91, the Tigers lost to the Twins, and no, that wasn't "the" playoffs.

The Sixers should be an acceptable answer. You need to clarify the NFL season - the 2009 NFL "season"'s ended on 1/3/10. The playoffs related to that season started on 1/9/10.

@Dorkle and @strattosphere, you guys sound like idiots. Read the rest of the comments, and it's pretty clear that it's the nfl playoff teams from the 2008 season, not the 2009 season.

i think you should either put the 76ers at the bottom of the list or change it to sixers, while still accepting 76ers. just my opinion though
