Nice quiz isn't it... Good luck spelling The last and second to last on the right hand column! Thanks, Sporcle.

Didn't South Korea revise the Korean-to-English transliterations a couple of years ago? T's are now D's, P's are now B's, and the long O is now eo? Although this old spellings are still used, I think the new spellings/transliterations should be accepted as answers.

Yes, I knew a few of these by pronounciation, but the spelling is brutal. The last on the list I remember well from M*A*S*H, but spelling it with an E at the beginning? Never would have guessed.

What is your source for this?? Almost every source I've seen has Incheon as the third-largest city, not Daegu. And BluntDiplomat makes a good point. Daegu and Busan are the more common spellings.

Yeah, it'd be nice if it accepted the other transliteration too, and if the list consistently used one or the other (Ex, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon; or Pusan, Inchon, Taegu, Taejon). Anyway, I live here and still didn't get more than the largest.

this is terrible. respond to your comments, snowman. you need alternate spelling on almost all of these.

Yeah the spelling issue is huge for this.. def need to add the more normal spellings.. ie. gwangju is usually spelled with the g not the k.. Daejeon with the D.. etc... makes the quiz way more frustrating than it needs to be.

Wow, the spellings are totally wrong. And it wouldn't hurt to put the populations.

Yep this was pretty bad. Outdated spellings, as everyone said, but that's no surprise considering he didn't even know how to spell "cities". Outdated population statistics... just bad all around.
