Man, Poland is kind of dicked over, no? Pretty much every other major EU country is in the program.

Good quiz! The bonus answer for Mexico, "Mexican tourists generally require visas" should probably be "Visas are generally required of Mexican tourists" or "Mexican tourists are generally required to have visas." The Mexican tourists aren't the ones doing the requiring.

Good quiz, maybe take them out of alphabetical order? That helped me get Brunei.

Maybe a too high number of Polish people has entered the US to work illegally. They look at these statistics when evaluating which countries should be invited to the program.

Thanks for the comments and ratings. @HPZ: I changed the wording; thanks for correcting my grammar. @flexabull: fewer than 1/4 are getting Brunei and only 12% are getting all of the countries so I'll keep it alphabetical for now. Others: please vote up flexabull's comments if you agree the order should be random and I'll change.

Other bonuses should include Micronesia, Marshall Islands, and Palau, whose residents also do not require visas, although not under the VWP.

Thanks, quackslikeaduck. I forgot those. I added those as bonuses as well as a few other countries whose citizens may travel to Guam of the Northern Mariana Islands without a visa but not to the rest of the US. There are now 11 bonuses in total. It seems like at least a couple of you agree that the countries should not be alphabetical. Is there an easy way to randomize this or do I have to type it in again? Thanks for the feedback!

@snorkle Very nice quiz, but I agree with flexabull, the alphabetic order got me Brunei, too. If you want to randomize it you don't have to type in the all the Data again, you can use the 'MOV' function which is at the end of each row.

I think Canada should be a full-blown answer here, at least according to your quiz's title (No visa needed to enter US) and subtitle (no tourist visa needed to enter US). It may not participate in the VWP but it fits your quiz's description just fine. The special cases having to do with Guam, etc are perfect for bonus answers, but it seems like your title and the VWP are contradictory so you should choose one.

An easier way to randomize the answers is to check the "randomize order of answers" box under Game Info. This has the added advantage of the answers being in a different order for each play of the quiz.

Why would the US let in people from Brunei without a passport?!

Hi all. Thanks for all of your comments and plays of this quiz. Given all of the comments I randomized the order. I hope this doesn't get the "silent" half of you all upset. I took Gjarble's suggestion and clicked the "randomize order of answers" box. Let me know if this messes up the bonuses/results. @SpaceTourism: People from Brunei need a passport, just not a visa. @Endasil: If I made Canada a regular answer I am sure I will hear from people who say that it doesn't participate in the VWP. Hopefully getting the bonus is satisfaction enough that you knew this. @Flick: The State Department website does not list Vatican City as country that participates in the VWP. However, my guess is that all of the passports issued by the Vatican are diplomatic passports, where different rules would apply anyway. I doubt the pope needs to wait in line at the US Consulate to get his visa prior to coming here! :) Keep the feedback and ratings coming. Thanks!

@SpaceTourism: Bruneians are permitted to enter the US without a *visa*. They'd still be required to present a passport.

@31195: Do you mean more countries should be on this list because I erroneously left some out? Or do you mean more countries should be on this list because the US should relax its visa requirements (but the quiz is still accurate)? If there are any mistakes please let me know and I will correct. I don't claim to be perfect!

So, it's basically just name all the countries of Western Europe, plus a few scattered rich countries elsewhere. Not hard to see a pattern. (Though I did manage to get Brunei but somehow forgot Andorra... doh...)

nice quiz, snorkle. makes me want to forge a brunei passport (kidding). also, i'm not sure about vatican, but sometimes the US still requires holders of diplomatic passports to have the US visas put on their passports to enter the US. they just dont have to wait in line like the rest of the applicants.

Oh, that horrible feeling on a Geography quiz when you've run through Europe and the major Pacific Rim countries, and there's still one blank box remaining, and the horror sinks in that the missing country could be hiding anywhere on the planet.....

It's even worse when you spend the rest of the time running through the remainder of the world and it turns out the country you forgot was... Austria. Pardon me while I go and sing several rousing choruses of 'Edelweiss.'
