This is a history version of a previous quiz I did, found right here: http://www.sporcle.com/games/smreidy113/answer_early_and_get_more_points
I really tried to make this one less US-Centric (is 3/8 good enough?), and tried my best to include topics from around the world. It is hard, though, because very few topics have a certain and absolute list of possible answers, such as US Presidents, where there are only 43 answers you can choose from. So, bear in mind that I don't have that big of a variety of things to choose from.

Here's something I said in the previous quizzes that should pretty much explain the rules.
I'm trying something new with this quiz that I haven't been able to do until the wrong answers feature was added. In this quiz, there are only 8 answers, and there are 5 clues (going from hardest to easiest) for each answer. You will be presented with one clue at a time, and you can guess an answer after each clue. If you get it right, all other clues you didn't have to use will be counted (for example, if you answer on the first clue, you get 5 points; if you answer in the 4th clue, you get 2), and you will go to the next category. If you get it wrong, you will be presented with an easier clue until there are no clues left. The minimum score is 8 and the maximum is 48. TYPE 'skip [#]' TO SKIP A CLUE. Good luck, and have fun! As always, leave a comment telling me what you think, and let me know about any bugs with this quiz.
NOTE ABOUT THE LAG:
Although this quiz really only has 8 answers, a whopping 153 answer spaces were used (this was to accommodate all of the possible wrong answers for each of the 40 questions), completely filled. Therefore, some lag is unfortunately bound to happen for some of you. |
