| As easy as it is to make fun of the Royals for never having a 40 HR guy, it's worth mentioning that they play in one of the worst home run parks in baseball. It's one of the largest outfields around, plus the stadium construction blocks the west wind, which means it's almost never blowing out. You know that huge crown they have that sits 440 feet away in center? Sure, it's far, but you'd think more than only TWO people would have hit it since the place opened in 1972 (Reggie Jackson and Bo Jackson). It's just a bad place for power hitters. |
