Great quiz, but why the random order?

Listing Shoeless Joe as an Indian is, I assume, because most of his WAR total came as an Indian. He played more games and had more plate appearances for the White Sox, and is clearly most remembered for incidents associated with his time as a member of the White Sox.

JLKeip, you are wrong. He had more games and more plate appearances for the Indians. You could have easily researched that before commenting.

Jackson did play 26 more games with the Indians, but he is absolutely more widely associated with the White Sox.

Good quiz. Could you do the same now, but for only a limited number of peak years? That would be a different cut and would eliminate the relative random deflation caused by both tails of careers.

@macaw, ye know, it would be different and interesting to contrast, but that top five I imagine would just be higher up. They all played into their 40's.

@sinatra22: I first made it random order to make it just a tiny bit harder because IMO there were few surprises (I wonder how many people were thinking Frank Robinson or Reggie Jackson). But it may have been annoying so I changed it.

@macaw: I wish I had the db know-how to do some peak year stuff. This was my simple attempt to bridge the career WAR v. peak WAR 'controversy', so it's one cut at the best of the best. A-Rod is likely to drop off the list as he finishes his career. I'd expect Pujols to stay on.
