I used to sing this song backwards; typing it is much harder. :)

I actually got all the way to 'C', then, for some bizarre reason, hit 'B'. Then again, I may not be
entirely
sober.

A drunk person has more to worry about than just getting the order correct... being drunk leads to being more prone to making typos, with a less steady hand.

I think the time is fine, because unless you've already memorized the alphabet backwards it takes a few mental run throughs to get them all right. And if you HAVE got the alphabet memorized backwards, maybe you already drink too much. Fun Quiz. 5 Globes.

Compete for your own time. Just because others might be slower doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to enjoy the whole quiz. There are people who aren't super fast typists but still like playing trivia games. Why take their fun away by reducing the time beyond their capabilities?

I really hope I will never have to translate the skills necessary for this Sporcle quiz into the real world. Especially since it took me 3 tries to get it right while being completely sober.

This quiz was on this site before. That's twice having learned the alphabet backwards as a kid has been useful for something.

So, if you ever are stopped for DUI and given this test, just know that being able to say your alphabet backwards is irrelevant. The test is actually intended to divide your focus so that the officer can see if you sway or stumble. They also want to see if you'll say something incriminating like "I couldn't do that even if I wasn't drunk!"

I've been able to recite the alphabet backwards since I was six. It's a fun trick to pull out at parties. Very lonely parties, mind you, but those still count, right?

it took me four attempts to get this right second time was hilarious, I put X before Y - how do I even get it that wrong? eventually did it in 30 seconds, but I would fail that drunk test sober. also I can't walk in a straight line. lucky I don't drive, really.. XD

You know you've been watching too much Premier League soccer, when you think "P" goes in between "Q" and "R," as in Queen's Park Rangers (QPR).

I made one that was 30 seconds a while back, and it was received very poorly. Weird, considering that top comment.
