I'm surprised Neil Armstrong's answer is least guessed, his state having a reputation for making the most astronauts and all.

I played this quiz solely in the hopes that Neil Armstrong's hometown (and my hometown) would be on here. Thanks slipkid!

@pete32782: I kinda created the quiz to put Wapak in it, since I grew up down the road in Lima.

I got down to Hemingway and Disney and guessed wrong :(. Great quiz!

@slipkid small world! You could've used Lima for Phyllis Diller!

I like the idea a lot, but think that it's a bit of a strange mixture. There are loads of US people in here, plus quite a few international names. For the former, you need to know the state and sometimes even the city, while most of the latter can be answered knowing only a country. I believe two separate quizzes would work a lot better.

The boxer's name is spelled Muhammad Ali, not Mohamed.

@Thalia: Thanks, corrected.

@Colmar, unfortunately there were two Ohios here and I guessed the wrong one. I definitely did a lot better on the international people!
