	@koopa08: The problem isn't the chicken. That's an urban legend. The problem is the word, "Fried". Terms like "fried" and "sugar" are being omitted or changed to so as to avoid emphasizing the essentially unhealthy nature of the product. Look at the number of cereals now being made with honey instead of sugar. Even though honey is only the slightest bit a better nutrition choice than sugar, it is perceived as a healthy alternative.

	@chriskotx Well, I was born in '86 and I definitely didn't know many of them. I don't even know what about 5 or 6 of these are, let alone their classic catchphrases. I only got the M&Ms one right because it has the chocolate mention. Guess I need to study classic Americana advertising!

	@chriskotx: I was born in the 90s, but when I was growing up, adults were always using old commercials to explain their points. Of course, they'd have to explain the commercials too. My fourth grade gym teacher used the E.F. Hutton to illustrate how we should all listen to him when he talks.

	5 globes just for including Brylcreem, my mom sings that tune all the time. Most of these were before my time but I still had fun. Like Athena13 said, there are many places younger people can hear about these older commercials, people love to reminisce about them. And now thanks to sites like youtube you can see many of them.

	Calgon was both. They had laundry soap and bubble bath I think. I learned this from watching The Price is Right during the 1970's while my grandmother babysat me.

	You know you've created a winning advertising catchphrase if 20-30+ years later people still often utter the phrase from a commercial. This is the case with most of the products in the left column on the results page.

	@Jensen22: There was a similar product called LifeCall in the 80s. My mom was a distributor. That company didn't make it but now there is Life Alert. They may be the same people, though, since they are using the same phrase.
