Some of these are more than six letters (recasts, retrain, seminar). You could just change the title, but if I were you I'd just take out the seven-letter ones and use them for a sequel where all the words are seven-letters long.

@Fidelio: Thanks for catching that, I took them out.

Hm, these things are a lot harder for me than other anagram games. I did find at least one anagram for each of the words, but when it comes to finding two different anagrams of the same word it becomes a lot harder.

Would have loved a couple more minutes, but maybe I'm just slow. Also, not sure why tasers is not an acceptable anagram of asters.

Good quiz - harder than I imagined at first!

Terrific quiz!

I kept thinking "tasers" for "asters" ... Is tasers a proper noun or something?

For filets, what about fliest and flites?

Great quiz -- but more time please! Most people got fewer than 20%. Would have loved a few extra minutes to puzzle out some more.

@melissa: Timed upped from 7 mins. to 8 mins. Thanks for the feedback.

@njb913 and lprdgecko - I think taser is a brand name. Like 'hoover' has fallen into popular use for any kind of vacuum cleaner, I would guess most stun gun type things are Tasers so it became the common name.

I like the concept, but as non-native speaker I failed in this. However I find it really funny that one can change lemons into melons :P

Isn't tasers a word?
| Zak6009: | Jul 19th, 2012 at 20:11 GMT | | 1 point |
I also was wondering about tasers. Had no idea it was a brand name (if it even is) but even if so, everyone's gonna call them that even if its a stun-machine made by another company.

I can't figure out why this was so hard, but it really was.

This is the poster game for facepalming. I tried four times and each consecutive time I forgot answers I'd already figured out. Then I finally gave up and almost knocked myself out when I saw how simple most of them were.
