Phelps doesn't pop up for me. It might be because you didn't allow just "Phelps" to be an answer.

It doesn't take Abdul-Jabbar (only Jabbar). Also its tradition to accept Yaz for yastrzemski
Jun 28th, 2012 at 19:33 GMT
For Randy Johnson and Rafer Johnson you need to put the full name b/c you'll get 2 answers if only 1 Johnson was typed in. Hope that cleared some stuff up! :B

It shouldn't matter that putting Johnson once gets people two names.

So, I think this is a really good quiz, but maybe a couple of suggestions? For Cal Ripken Jr, right now, Sporcle thinks "Jr." is the last name, so typing in Ripken doesn't work. If you add an option for just Ripken, the same way you did for Yaz and Coach K (and thanks for not making me spell those, by the way), that should take care of it. Also -- I'm not a fan of having to type in full names for the Johnsons -- in my opinion, it would be better if it was consistent with the rest of the quiz (and Sporcle convention), either we never have to type in first names, or we always do. At least, if you want to keep it as it is now, maybe put something in the game notes, letting us know that shared last names require full names? Also -- right now, typing in "and" gives you Rafer Johnson. Anyway -- that's a lot of words to say I really thought this was a good quiz, thanks for taking the time to make it.

Need to add in more options for whats acceptable for the womens soccer team and 1980 miracle on ice. There are so many ways these could be described its next to impossible to figure out what you're looking for. Only 19% of people have gotten the hockey team right, and I find it hard to believe only 19% of people know which hockey team would've won in 1980.
