Oh that's right, steve young is the best ever, montana isn't top 5, and brett favre spent most of his career on the vikings. How foolish of me to think otherwise.

Jurgensen is splled with a second "e", not an "o". Jimmy Conzelman is listed on football reference as a BB-TB-HB-E. He's really from the pre-quarterback era. Cincinnati is not spelled with two t's. Dave Krieg's first name has an "a" in it. Daryle Lamonica is not primarily remembered as a member of the Buffalo Bills, nor is Archie Manning remembered as a Houston Oiler. I could go on, but I won't.

I'm a Bears fan but putting McMahon on here and omitting some of the guys you did is ridiculous. McNabb, Gannon, Romo, Hasselbeck, Rivers, Green, etc are all better QB's then McMahon

Congratulations. I mean really, you have to try to mess up a quiz this badly. To go to pfr.com and randomly select 50 QB's, take half of them and spell their names incorrectly and the other half and link them to teams they barely - or never - played for. (I always think St. Louis Rams when I think of Norm Van Brocklin.) I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

there is one bears quarterback on this list and it's not sid luckman???? jim mcmahon?!? also, in addition to the numerous team and spelling errors mentioned by others, i was unaware that philadelphia was spelled with a semi-colon in the middle.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! If this quiz was supposed to be taken seriously, it's easily the worst quiz on sporcle. In some cases you reference the old teams guys played for (correctly) like the Houston Oilers and Baltimore Colts. Yet you have multiple listings for the St. Louis Rams ... none of which are the only decent QB to ever play in St. Louis (Kurt Warner). And who is "Dve" Krieg?

Really must be a joke. Someone should tell Drew Brees and Aaron Rogers that if they try really, really hard they might be able to join the greats one day. Greats like Steve Deberg, Steve Bartkowski and Dve Krieg.

@NickGigot...In Namath's defense, QB stats from his era have to be looked at in context. The rules have changed drastically over the years to help the offense, the passing game in particular. Marc Bulger has better stats than anyone who played in the 60's. That means absolutely nothing. Granted, Namath's celebrity status in the 60's definitely contributed to his being somewhat overrated, even today. But Namath was recognized by his peers as being far and away one of the best around at the time. Ask some DB's he played against how BAD Joe Namath was. He was also instrumental in a major turning point in the history of pro football. That can't be ignored. Most of all, he was light years ahead of some of the journeymen on this ridiculous list.

Warren Moon never played for the Tennessee Titans, and the Rams were in Los Angeles not St. Louis when Van Brocklin and Jim Everett played for them. Earl Morrall is known more for his days a Baltimore Colt not a Lion. Since when is a semicolon included in the spelling of Philadelphia? (Norm Snead).

Uh, no. Archie played 11 seasons with the Saints and 2 with Houston. The problem is that the Saints best QB all time is Drew Brees and it isn't even close.

I actually think Young belongs close to the top...I'd probably rate him 2nd to Montana. His numerical rating is the highest of anyone who's retired...I suspect some of the current guys may end up higher. There are so many howlers on this list it's not worth going into. As to Namath, who have to decide whether one historically important achievement (Super bowl 3) outweighs the fact that by any other criteria, he doesn't belong in the top 75.

jim mcmahon - 58% completion, 18,000 yards, 100 tds and 90 ints, with a 78.2 rating and 1 superbowl won by his defense, i'd say that warrants a spot higher than montana, elway, brady, marino, warner, aikman, and simms...not to mention the guys before and after him

1. Click ACCEPT LAST WORD ONLY!!!!!! 2. This list makes no sense - Steve Young is #1, Montana isn't in the top 3, Joe Namath is in the top 25? And he's #4 at that? The order is HORRIBLE! 3. This is a great quiz - as long as you completely change everything about it.

This quiz was poorly made and misleading in its title. If you are going to give this quiz any credit, it has to be that he based it off of his own opinion and without any facts to back up his decisions. If you want to make a quiz like this, then make it based off of yards or touchdowns or something that people can grasp rather than just naming people you think were good quarterbacks. Also if you knew anything about football you would probably know that joe montana is one of the top 3 easily. Going along with what everyone else said, you need to completely redo this quiz if you dont want everyone who plays it to laugh at how much of an idiot you are. You should probably take the advice in these comments because nobody wants to play another quiz by someone who doesn't know what they are talking about.
