| I think the reason everyone found left handed easier is because it included very regular patterns of letters. I mean, in itself we might not spell stewardesses a lot, but the 'ste' 'ard' and 'ess' combinations are all quite common. On the right hand side, the lack of e and a (not to mention t, r, and s) means some much rarer letter combinations, like 'hyl' 'imn' 'imu' and 'nym'. I dare say the muscle memory was being used a lot more frequently with the left hand. Also, for those dominant with right, it probably is alot more of a jack of all trades, whereas the left tends to sit neatly where the keyboard is designed for it to sit. |
