| @GiantsJoe2110, dje: Actually, CitiField is erroneously considered to be very bad for HR hitters. In fact, going by park factors, Citi is good for HR hitters (http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/parkfactor/_/year/2009). Also, check out the HR per game at Hit Tracker (http://www.hittrackeronline.com/stadiums.php), and you'll see that Citi had more HR per game than 5 other NL stadiums. If not for the DH, Citi would probably be better than 4 or 5 AL stadiums as well. Plus, if Beltran and Reyes had been healthy and if Wright had been his normal self (most people blame Citi for Wright's lack of power but he actually hit THE SAME amount of HR on the road; 5 HR at home, 5 HR on the road), Citi would've been even better. |
