	Zetterberg reportedly was invited but asked not to be selected. That's probably the case with a lot of guys that you'd think would be there (for example, I would find it hard to believe if the NHL invited Skinner before Nicklas Backstrom and Mike Richards declined).

	@sixsevenfiftysix While I agree with most of what you've said, the inclusion of Skinner makes a lot of sense, at least to me. Likely the best rookie in the league, and probably the most exciting, he'll be playing in the All-Star game in his "home" city, in front of his fans, and the NHL wouldn't have to worry about an extra invitation because he was scheduled to be in the rookie challenge anyway.

	To be fair to Skinner, he does have 40 points as a rookie which is pretty impressive considering its more points than a lot of the other guys selected to the team. Also, as a Leafs fan, I find it hard to believe that Kessel was picked to the team over some of the other players who are having much better seasons. Personally, I think Macarthur or Grabovski should be representing the Leafs based on their play this year alone.

	However, its a great thing that he was given a donation of 20,000$ to the charity of his choice, considering the fact he had cancer. It was a nice gift. Regardless, all of those players are making millions of dollars per year and if they really wanted to, they could easily by a Honda

	A Buffalo fan had a sad sad all star game. Loved the whole thing except our lack of a player. Luckily my equal love for Nashville and Weber being my favorite player pulled me through!
