| First of all, they aren't all frontmen. Some of them are imaginary, such as Hootie. Still, good premise for a sporcle. However, there are two glaring errors and it could be longer without even starting to get obscure:
1. it's Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.
2. no one, to my knowledge, has ever called them "Sting and the Police", at least on any of their albums.
3. You might think about letting last names only work for those who have first and last names.
4. Other worthy entries (more worthy than, say, the Police) would be:
Elvis Costello (and the Attractions or Impostors),
Iggy (and the Stooges),
Ziggy Stardust (and the Spiders from Mars)(imaginary but cool), Bob Marley (and the Wailers),
Gladys Knight (and the Pips),
Bob Dylan (and the Band) might be an option,
Derek (and the Dominoes),
Reggie (and the Full Effect),
Prince (and the Revolution or New Power Generation),
Frank Zappa (and the Mothers of Invention),
Frankie Valli (and the Four Seasons),
Tommy James (and the Shondells),
Sly (and the Family Stone),
Frank Black (and the Catholics),
Robyn Hitchcock (and the Egyptians),
Souixsie (and the Banshees),
Booker T (and the MGs),
Big Head Todd (and the Monsters),
Country Joe (and the Fish),
Katrina (and the Waves),
Billy Vera (and the Beaters),
Morris Day (and the Time),
Martha (and the Vandellas),
Mitch Ryder (and the Detroit Wheels),
Anthony (and the Johnsons),
Anthony (and the Imperials)
I don't think you need to do all of these but some food for thought, anyway. |
