Chacon started more games, threw more innings and had a lower ERA in 2005 than he did in 2006. He also pitched more innings, had more wins, and a lower ERA than Brown and Wright had in 2005

Aaron Small should really be added to the 2005 list. He went 10-0 and practically came out of no where. Much more of a contributor to that team then Kevin Brown ever was

I think you need to pick some concrete criteria for determining what constitutes a "core" starting pitcher (or if there already is one, make it clear what that criteria is).
