i thought "Are you my mother" was a dr seuss book too. I can't believe how many books he wrote! He was also a political cartoonist and there is a book out featuring and about his cartoons.

I probably would have done much better about eight or nine years ago when I was still reading these to my youngest, but some titles I only recall from MY childhood. It is a wonderful legacy he has left us all.

"Go Dog Go," was also written by P.D. Eastman, I believe. I believe "Red Fish, Blue Fish, One Fish, Two Fish" is entitled "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish."

I think the posthumous ones should be bonus answers: Daisy-Head Mayzie, Hooray for Diffendoofer Day, My Many Colored Days, and Gerald McBoing-Boing.

I'm disappointed that I missed Fox in Socks and Would You Rather Be a Bullfrog? Dr. Seuss ftw.
