Tough times in this little slice uh paradise, pard'ner. Ever since the well came up flat busted dry in the copper mine a month or so back, there ain't been so much as a shiny Buffalo Nickel to be seen nowheres. And as it were, that's also when the cattle rustlin' and bank robbin' all started, too. Can you pull that piece out your holster there and give us a little peace and justice? Tell us who (A) robbed the bank, who (B) stole the farmer's cattle and ultimately, who (C) shot and kilt the judge? Some folks here's good people who want to help ya: Put "D"s in their boxes, as they did nothing wrong. Assume that: 1.) all freed slaves is good people; 2.) everyone who ain't broken no laws tells the truth; and 3.) a family member of anyone who tells the truth can also be trusted to shoot straight witcha; but 4.) if someone's got fat pockets from thievin' and/ or blood on his/ her gloves from killin', then he ain't the trustworthy sort. (Oh, by the way: if someone tells you that someone else "ain't worth his or her weight in salt," it means that someone of whom he or she speaks is (B) — a cattle thief.) "Adjacent" = horizontally, vertically and/ or diagonally. Now fix your spurs and hitch your saddles, and let's get this town cleaned up, pard'ner. Much obliged.
