I'm not sure what you ment by larger cities. If it could be better defined it would be a good quiz. For example with Albugeurque I would have though Santa Fe and fort Minneapolis to have st Paul.

The directions say that it's by city proper population.

I agree. Its a bit confusing. For example: Kansas City. Why wouldn't the answer be Dallas? Big D is larger than OKC. If the answer for Memphis is Dallas...why wouldn't it be Nashville if the answer for Kansas City is Oklahoma City? Your criteria is a bit obscure it seems. But I'll be kind and give you 3/5.

Oklahoma City is the nearest city to KC that is larger. City proper population, not metro. Memphis is larger than Nashville, and the nearest city that is larger than Memphis is Dallas.

@drummerchic: Minneapolis is larger than St Paul, and Albuquerque is like 6 times the size of Santa Fe. This seems pretty straightforward to me. My only suggestion is to force people to answer these questions in order.

Oh, so that's the definition of larger. I was confused too, I was wondering what you meant by a larger city.

I agree with LinuxLinus - this needs to be in order.

This would be a perfect candidate for a minefield quiz.

You should probably specify that you mean Kansas City, Missouri, because the closest larger city to Kansas City, Kansas, is Kansas City, Missouri (or possibly Overland Park, depending on how you choose to define "closest").

Using some online measuring devices, Albuquerque is only 230 miles from El Paso while about 330 miles from Phoenix. El Paso should be the answer then, as its city population of about 650000 is decidedly larger than Albuquerque's 540000

You're right about that one zzyzx501, I don't know how I missed that. Thanx.

Are you specifying that the answer must also be a US city, or just that all of the "questions" are? Because if it is the latter case, the answer to Buffalo should be either Mississauga or Toronto (can't tell which is closer from the map I'm looking at)

They're all US Cities, both answers and questions.
