	Not your fault, but the title of this article (and by extension, your quiz) is very misleading. There's no quantitative reason any of these places is on the list. Rather, the author says he chose the cities "not only by looking at infrastructure and livability, but also economic fundamentals." In other words, there should be quotes around "smart" cities, as in "smart" phones. Some of these cities really are smart, as in education-smart, but this list is bogus.

	It is a very objective list, but it's still interesting. Don't blame the messenger... BTW, anyone who has never been to cities like Charleston or Huntsville obviously has no clue how "smart" they are. There are many "smart" cities, and none of them have to have a large population to be consider such.

	I can vouch for Huntsville. It is a major research center for NASA; von Braun set up shop there to test Saturn V rockets.

	Well, in the UK alone, we have a number of cathedral cities- i.e. small towns or even villiages with historic cathedrals, and therefore elevated to city status. E.g. Wells, Somerset pop. 10,406; Truro, Cornwall pop. 20,920; and Sailsbury, Wiltshire pop. c50,000. I doubt we're the only ones. So sadly, this list must be miles out... in fact, the quiz is probably impossible.

	Huntsville really should not be a surprise, considering how huge Marshall Space Flight Center is to the city. Similar situation with Houston. Strong NASA represent on this quiz!
