Spider-Man has a hyphen in his name.

Darkblademcb is absolutely right. While I grudgingly accept that it should not say Spiderman is wrong when you type it in, the word that comes up on screen should certainly be Spider-Man. Also, Marvel Girl should be acceptable for Jean Grey.

Marvel should be valid for Captain Marvel because he has recently taken up the role of the wizard Shazam and has changed his Superhero name to Marvel.

Also, Dick Grayson is also (and more important, currently) Nightwing.

sue richards doesn't really count because the Fantastic Four never kept their identities a secret. Read the old FF magazines, people know their real names.

Agreed for Nightwing. I thought the same thing.

Marvel Girl should be acceptable for Jean Grey. She didn't really have a secret identity. Phoenix was more her psychotic alter ego.

Umm the hulk? Not necessarilly a secret...Why not include the other 3 members of FF?

@magidad: If we want to get into semantics, most of the Marvel characters have revealed their identities at this point.

I would also argue that Robin was more a sidekick than a superhero, therefore, in this quiz Nightwing should've been acceptable for Dick Grayson. And ... no ... there was nothing secret about the identity of the Fantasit Four!

I only knew a few of these, but was able to get a bunch more just by naming random super heroes I could think of. Had no idea which belonged to which name. 5 minutes might be too much time because it rewards wild guessing by those who don't really know anything, like me.

I think Jean Grey should JUST be Marvel Girl. Phoenix is just the name of the entity that possesses her for a while, she's not the first person it's possessed and won't be the last.

Jean Gray was Marvel Girl to an old schooler like me. Wikipedia calls her most known for original Xman member, which would be Marvel Girl

This website is wrong! I read the original comic books. All the movies and the modern books are all very incorrect. Jean Grey originally was called marvel girl. She could not control her powers as a child so she went to exavier. Exaviar put blocks on her powers until she was old enough to use them. She came back as a teenager and trained with the original 5 x-men. ice-man cyclops wolverine was not there till later. The Beast.Way later after being a super mutant for a long time she took in the powers of apocalypse and had uncontrollable strength. They used it later. Anyway don't depend on this website for accurate info on super heroes. Contact me at grehandutton@yahoo.com for more info and the truth about these super heroes origins

Actually Superman is the person and Clark Kent the alter ego. why not Hob Goglen or Sandman?

More challenging than this, I think, would be to list the superhero names and have you guess the real names. Of course, you'd have to include EVERY real name, since there have been multiple Flashes, multiple Robins, a whole army of Green Lanterns, etc...

Nightwing, Marvel Girl, agree. And Aquaman really has no secret identity. Nonetheless, this quiz is way too easy - needs about 50 more entries!

" ice-man cyclops wolverine was not there till later. The Beast" Actually Iceman and Cyclops were two of the original X-men, along with Marvel Girl, the Beast and Angel.

If you want to be completely technical, Clark Kent AND Superman are secret identities. His TRUE name is Kal-El.

To anyone who knows comics, this was way too easy, there was too much time, it should have more superheroes or less time to take the quiz

And for those of us that have no clue as to who the comic book superheroes of the past 40 years are until the movie comes out... Thank you for more time and fewer superheroes...
