	French Guiana is not an independent country. Jamaica, Guyana and Suriname are not Latin countries, and Haiti is iffy.

	I was going to say the exact same as the above user. Also, this quiz doesn't force the user to enter the answers in order, making the numbering system no challenge. Yes, Haiti is 'iffy'. Technically a Romance-language speaking country just like Brazil and all the Spanish-speaking ones, but if you're going to call Haiti part of Latin America, you might as well call Quebec part of Latin America. Which generally doesn't happen. And one more point - Belize is not a Latin country either!

	Well scuba, go educate your teacher. It's France, not French Guiana, which is the main issue. The other issues raised above by Chocolatl and HiddenPalace are valid too. i think you should include Haiti, it speaks a romance language, Quebec is not included because its a province, not a country. Jamaica shouldn't be there, neither Guyana or Suriname.

	Well Flixuk, I think you will find upon closer examination of a map that there are a number of countries in the Americas not on this list, hmmm St Vincent and the Grenadines anyone? That having been said there is most certainly a degree of ambiguity as regards the whole latin/non-latin classifier.

	some people consider quebec to be a part of latin america, in that case i think canada should be a bonus.

	Yeah, Haiti is definitely not "iffy." It is Latin American.
