| I remember being stunned when I met people who didn't realize that the Expos' logo was an M or the Brewers' old one an M&B. Since I was a kid, I was always good at seeing things like that. That being said, I refuse to accept that the Falcons logo is an F. First, it just simply doesn't look like an F in any style I've ever seen. Second, if you look at the original logo and prior to the 2003 revision, it looks even less like an F (if it's possible to look like less than nothing). Third, the only apparently reputable source for this was on Wikipedia, but that link is dead. I searched through what it apparently pointed to, which is the Falcons' official history guide and it said nothing about the logo being anything but a bird. I am convinced this is an urban legend being spread on the internet. Chris Creamer's sportslogo site is simply a fan site and not an official source in any way. |
