When it didn't take "Miss America" I thought "huh...?" But now that I think about it it makes sense why its not on there. Anyways, great quiz.

very good, but I had hoped it'd be easier to get the warner film one, and best picture.

FOX belongs as a television station - its ratings are just as high and often higher than the other 3

Thanks for the comments everyone!
To clarify some of the categories:
-The three TV networks have traditionally been considered 'The Big Three' as they controlled the majority of broadcasting for years. While FOX is definitely up there with them now, the term remains for the others.
-'The Big Five' African game was a term developed by hunters referring to the five most difficult animals to hunt by foot. The term is now widely used on safaris.
-'The Big Eight' states is a term used in the media referring to the most populous states.

So if there's a Miss Earth and a Miss World pageant, which one of them goes on to represent our planet in the Miss Universe pageant? Do they draw straws or is there some kind of tiebreaker?

Nice quiz, but I went with Price Waterhouse Cooper. Would have appreciated a little help! (like an alternate spelling).

@spm2404: Ah you forgot the 's'. I've changed it so it'll take that. Could have just went with 'PwC' as well.

The big 5 oscars is actually a big 6-Actor/Actress, Picture, Director and two versions of screenplay-one for original and one for adapted. Agree that Fox is not one of the traditional "Big 3" but it has higher ratings than some of the others and is now considered one of the Big 4.

What about MGM for major film studio. I think they are just a little bit "BIGGER" than Touchstone/Disney. What about Miss America for the pageant? You should clarify ivy league. There are many other colleges far bigger than your three. What are "Big Eight US States? You should do a little more research. Big three US colleges?

@TubeChat: "Big" in this case doesn't necessarily mean the largest. These things over the years have been labeled as the "Big ___" in their respective categories. And Miss America? C'mon, there's a whole other world outside of the US.
