the basis for this was to find city names that are seemingly impossible to pronounce for people not from the country of which the cities come from or who speak the native language, not ones that sound funny or quirky, although i do appreciate the suggestions, thats not what im looking for.

I managed to get 6 of these somehow, but for someone so intent on spelling, you wouldn't accept the official romanized spelling of 평양 --- Pyeongyang.

@newenglander, since when has Hell, Michigan been a city? It isn't a city, township, village, or even a census-designated place. It doesn't even have its own post office. It is basically just an intersection.
